From the heart of Las Vegas to Carson City, Fabian Doñate is fighting for Nevadans US.

Fabian grew up in a working-class family in downtown Las Vegas. His parents came to Nevada for the same reason so many families do: the opportunity to work hard and build a better life. Their first apartment was in the neighborhood known as Naked City.

His parents continue working at the same jobs that brought them to Las Vegas and helped them raise a family. Their story, and the stories of families like theirs, shape how Fabian leads.

Meet Senator

Fabián Doñate

My parents came to Las Vegas for work and built a life through years of long shifts and sacrifice. Our first apartment was in Naked City, in the shadow of the Strat. My dad still works there today, and my mom still works at Albertsons.

Eleven households in my extended family still live in Las Vegas. We did not have much, but I grew up surrounded by people who worked hard, looked out for one another, and believed tomorrow could be better. That is the Nevada I carry with me to Carson City.
